Introduction to the economy
Economy introduction
The economy is an admin shop based economy, meaning there is no supply or demand. Prices are mostly static.
You can buy basic items by traveling to a trade post, or by buying the item instantly from the
/shop
at a higher price.Trade posts are safezones on the map that can be traveled to either by boat, or by movecraft ships.
Trade posts sell and buy advanced items.
There are no delivery fees with selling or buying basic items at trade posts.
Each trade post has a special "Cargo" item.
Cargo can be bought from one trade post for low, and sold at another trade post for high. However, you can only buy and sell these cargo items via movecraft ships.
You also gain passive income via cities.

You can access the shop by running
/shop
.In the shop, you can buy and sell basic items.
However, /shop has import and export fees.
For example, buying concrete from
/shop
is 3 times more expensive than buying from a trade post.As another example, selling Iron ingots at a trade post lends 10.5$, while selling iron ingots in
/shop
only lends 3.5$.
The shop also does not sell or buy advanced items.
City income
Tier 6 cities also tax 10% of every other city's income.
